Overview

Mountain Bike is a convenient and ecological alternative to explore with easily the south of Gran Canaria : Maspalomas Dunes, Playa Ingles, Ayaguaures Hill and Dam, Arguineguin fishing village.
Rent a Mountain Bike 1 until 7 days. You can choose to rent :

1) Baby bike seat.
Suitable for Infant : 1 - 4 years old / Maximum weight 22 kg

2) Child Mountain Bike - wheels 16" / 18" / 20" :
with pedals / without gears / without front suspensions
Suitable for Child : 5 - 8 years old / height 105 cm - 135 cm

3) Youth Mountain Bike wheels 24":
with 18 gears / with front suspensions
Suitable for Youth: 9 -12 years old / 135 cm- 150 cm

4) Adult Mountain Bike wheels 26 "
with 21 gears / with front suspensions
Suitable for People: 13 - 70 years old / 150 cm - 195 cm

What To Expect

Rent a Mountain Bike and take advantage of it to take a bike trip to visit the mountain town of Ayagaures.
You will cross a wonderful green valley adorned with palm trees, plants, cacti and typical Canarian flowers in an incredible itinerary surrounded by nature. On this tour you will meet ancient animal farms and, in particular, you will see the goat farm up close, an animal icon of the island.
Once you reach the top of Ayagaures mountain, you will have the opportunity to stop in a Tapas Bar (Bar la Cuevita) built inside an old Aboriginal cave dating back to the pre-Hispanic era where you can taste the typical Canarian products (Food and drinks are not included in the rental price)
After a break you can continue towards the Ayagaures dam, a large water tank with an exceptional panoramic view.
The return is all downhill and even more exciting.
The tour is 30 km in total: 15 km uphill to get to the dam and 15 km downhill. If you choose to visit Ayagaures with a Mountain Bike, you absolutely need to be physically well trained.
